It is a golden rule of publishing that the moment after you release, an error will be discovered. For trivia, this is even more true, since records are set to be broken, and new knowledge is always being discovered. - Question 53: The correct answer is "Set" (c). "Run" is second at 396.
- Question 165: Two smaller moons, Nix and Hydra were discovered in 2005.
- Question 182: Blair was replaced by Gordon Brown, his former Chancellor of the Exchequer, on Juner 27, 2007.
- Question 234: Marshall Faulk broke Centers's record in week 14 of the 2005 NFL season.
- Question 246: Michigan has now won 860 games, 39 ahead of Notre Dame through the 2006 season.
- Question 270: The correct answer is pink (b), as the extra information already states.
- Question 282: Question should say "SECOND most goals per game", as he slipped behind Bossy before retiring again on January 24, 2006.
- Question 328: Question should say "was" not "is".
- Question 426: Riley is now just over 100 wins behind following the 2005-06 season.
- Question 432: The correct year should be 1742, not 1923
- Question 490: The correct answer is Oslo, Norway.
- Question 499: Question should say "original name" not "given name".
- Question 615: Proxima Centauri is 4.22 light years away (24.8 billion miles) in the same star system as Alpha Centauri A and B.
- Question 609: Both acids were known before Priestley's work with them.
- Question 639: Extra information should say "Neptune's", not "Pluto's". Neptune was the outermost planet then, regardless of Pluto's status as a planet.
- Question 718: Question should say "Where" not "What".
- Question 772: Question should say "land animal" not "land mammal".
- Question 781: Extra information is missing the word "sequel" after "1991".
- Question 816: Brett Favre broke Dan Marino's career touchdown record on September 30, 2007 and his yardage record on December 16, 2007.
- Question 847: Question should say "deputy mayor" not "mayor".
- Question 919: Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest has since passed the billion dollar mark.
- Question 932: Question should say "notary public" not "notary republic".
- Question 942: Rupp won 876 games, not 879.
- Question 943: The final was in 1974, not 1975.
- Question 960: The word "clips" should be "kips".
- Question 1,008: The WLAF became NFL Europe and then NFL Europa and then shut down in June 2007.
- Question 1,016: Marco Polo may have reached it first, but his claims remain debatable.
- Question 1,032: Barry Bonds broke Aaron's record on August 7, 2007.
- Question 1,036: Victoria is the capital of British Columbia.
- Question 1,151: The correct answer is Ezra Pound (who's not a female).
- Question 1,225: The movie was in 1984 (the award was 1985).
- Question 1,282: Indiana standardized on using daylight saving time beginning in April 2006.
- Question 1,387: The movie was in 1989 (the award was 1990).
- Question 1,403: Question should say "original name" not "given name".
- Question 1,444: As of 2006, Russia has passed the U.S. for second place and China has passed Mexico for fifth.
- Question 1,565: Question is too unclear. Should say "middle of the five classes" (Gammas) instead.
- Question 1,631: The correct answer is 'b', as the extra information already states.
- Question 1,724: The correct answer is Emily.
- Question 1,744: The correct answer is Belize as of 2006 (but the old answer was probably wrong anyway).
- Question 1,796: The correct spelling is "Wilfrid".
- Question 1,814: Close quote needs to be inserted.
- Question 1,816: The song name should be "Hang on Sloopy" (the given song was a 1994 parody).
- Question 1,825: The movie was in 1993 (the award was 1994).
- Question 1,878: The first opponent was the Bees, not the Red Sox (wrong league).
- Question 1,908: Johns Hopkins tied Syracuse with their ninth title in 2007, and Syracuse won its tenth in 2008.
Note: The International Astronomical Union reclassified Pluto as a dwarf planet (or small solar system object) on August 24, 2006. Pluto has been removed as a choice from some questions in this volume.
